It’s been 10 years since I first planned on starting a project that would touch on musical influences that reoccur in my album collection.
I’ve long ignored my passion for what really I feel represents me as an artist. If there was a true vibe that I believe represents me, this is the start of that discovery.
Here’s the first track of what I hope will be many…10 years in the making.
Finished mixing a new track with a new twist. Originally I did a version with Nicole Boggs & Melany Watson, but we took a new direction with the awesome Meredith Mazie. It’s a Bossa Nova version of “Two Heart Breaks Away”. Hope you enjoy it!
Just finished up a brand new song with the awesome Hanna Rae at the Red Room. It has a great vibe and it was a ton of fun working with her. Her voice is stellar!
This past February, my Trio performed a set at the Envision Jazz Festival in Surrey, BC at the Bell Center for the Performing Arts. We recorded the set through a simple stereo microphone, and it came out great. Thanks to our good friend James Driscoll, we were able EQ the tracks and boost the levels so we could share it with you.
We were so appreciative of the support we received, and had a great time working with the students through the week. To say thank you, we’re excited to offer the album for free through our friends at BandCamp.com.
